Bio
As a Public Affairs Manager for SoCalGas, O鈥橲hields supports 25 cities throughout San Gabriel Valley. She provides opportunities to share the SoCalGas story and achieve operational goals safely, efficiently, and always with the customer in mind. Additionally, O鈥橲hields coordinates company relations with local city and community leaders to develop and enhance SoCalGas partnerships. Prior to joining SoCalGas, she encouraged community engagement through water education with the City of Pomona and Walnut Valley Water District. Having spent her entire career in the utility industry, O鈥橲hields has developed a unique talent for connecting her organization with its surrounding community. Educating communities about the importance of resources through education has been a driving force for O鈥橲hields.
O鈥橲hields holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of La Verne, with an emphasis in Governance and Bachelor of Psychology degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Currently serving on many non-profit boards including: Pomona Community Foundation, La Verne Chamber of Commerce, Pomona Chamber of Commerce, and SGV Economic Partnership Legislative Action Committee. Previously she served on: Precious Life Shelter, Cypress Community College Foundation, Buena Park Boys & Girls Club, and Coastline Community College Foundation. O鈥橲hields resides in San Dimas with her husband, Ryan and son, Maddex (9), Harper (9), and new addition Nolan (10 months). In her spare time, O鈥橲hields enjoys hosting dinner parties with family and friends, playing with her children, watching college football and exploring new places with loved ones.
