Giving California insights into student success and achievement

DataVista is the metrics platform for information on California Community Colleges and Adult Education student success. DataVista is designed to inspire a greater understanding of student achievement, build understanding about student outcomes and provide information to support evidence-based decision making at schools, colleges and within the state.

Data Mart provides information about students, courses, student services, outcomes, faculty and staff. The emphasis is to answer the questions of administrators, educators, parents, students, state leaders and professional organizations.

The CTE Employment Outcomes Survey is a statewide study to assess employment outcomes of students who have participated in career technical education coursework at California Community Colleges. Data tables and visualizations allow the public to access survey results.

The Student Centered Funding Formula (SCFF) was adopted in the 2018–19 state budget as a new way to allocate funding to community college districts. The SCFF provides funding that supports access through enrollment-based funding, student equity by targeting funds to districts serving low-income students, and student success by providing districts with additional resources for student’s successful outcomes.

The Transfer-Level Gateway Completion dashboard provides completion rates of transfer-level English, mathematics (or equivalent quantitative reasoning course), and credit ESL starting from students’ first course enrollment in the discipline (whether at or below transfer-level).

Student Right-To-Know Disclosure Website provides student longitudinal outcomes for first-time freshman cohorts.

Annual statewide staffing reports by fall terms. 

Employee counts disaggregated by gender, age group, and ethnicity by fall terms.
