Although graduation from our program does not guarantee a job, many of our graduates find work as interpreters in several settings such as VRS, community, educational, etc.
If I get the certificate or degree in interpreting, does that mean I am a certified interpreter?
- This can be a point of confusion. We offer both certificates of achievement and associate degrees. This is different from being a 鈥渃ertified interpreter.鈥� Typically, when people discuss certification, they are discussing an outside certifying body in the field such as BEI, NIC, EIPA, etc.
